MSU’s inaugural Student Leadership Institute: Engaging and Empowering Men to Prevent Campus Sexual Violence will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017. MSU recognizes the tremendous individual and community impact of sexual violence. Along with campuses nationwide, Michigan State University is engaged in ongoing, comprehensive efforts to prevent sexual violence, including launching the inaugural Student Leadership Institute in 2017.

In brief, the 4-hour Leadership Institute occurs on Friday, March 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at MSU’s Student Union, Lake Superior Room. The Institute includes lunch and an invigorating program involving brief Ted-talk-style presentations by senior leaders of social justice action on MSU’s campus, along with keynote speaker, Don McPherson (former NFL player, All-America quarterback, and social justice advocate).
